Ryan completely surprised me last night by calling me as I was on my way home from work, and asking if he could take me out to dinner. :) Very, very unexpected surprise! So, we picked Red Lobster because their commercials have looked really good lately. (we haven't had seafood in a long, long, long time.)
Appetizer of lobster rolls, margarita for him, strawberry daiquiri for me, the shrimp trio for him, and the dockside chicken and shrimp for me. Mmmm-mmm good! (Anyone hungry?) It was so fun to not do the usual nightly routine. :) And of course, another upside to having dinner out... left-overs for lunch!
Okay, so it got up to nearly 85 yesterday, and it's somehow in the 50's today. Yesterday was so perfect, with the sunroof open, and the bright sunshine. Mmm, I'm ready for warm weather.
11 days left till Cabo! (Dang, just had a thought... definitely no more eating out till after we get back!) We're kinda sorta hoping that this 50-degree weather will take a hike by the time we get back. :)
Getting busy over here.. auditors are in the office till at least Friday. (= most likely more work for me) Hope you all have a great day! :)
Because his girlfriend lives in Baltimore... he's still married from what i understand BTW-i think he's trying to get a divorce (which should have happened when i met him first...)
LOVe strawberry daiquiris... yummmmmmmmmmm last night would have been a perfect time for one. Its pretty cold here now. We're supposed to have snow on friday!
AHH!!! I'm still around, I've just been such a bad commenting friend lately... So sorry, darlin'!
This weather is crazy, by the way. It was 75 here yesterday, give or take a few degrees, and it's 50 today. WHAT?! Lucky girl - you get to escape this weird weather for Cabo! By the way - you two are loking SO tan already (that first pic in yesterday's post)... YAY for warm weather soon! :)
Have a wonderful day, & I'll do my best to get a new post up soon - promise!
Definitely bizarre weather we've been having! Monday, there were kids in bathing suits playing in the spring, and yesterday, they were calling for SNOW! Very schizo....
wow! only 11 days!!! red lobster has those sinfully delicious biscuits that i could eat an entire truckload of. ; ) i'm glad you guys had a great dinner date. all of that food described totally makes me hungry! i'm at work though and my dinner consists of hominy tonight. ugghh. ; ) that weather you are having there? crazy. i'm moving to virginia. ; )
Man, crab legs.... yummy. Try The Shrimp Factory if you go out to eat in Cabo. Several people have told me it's the best they've ever had. I'm so jealous of anyone going to a warm beach right now... you guys will have a great time! Did you figure out what you're wearing to the events?
